Summary of Program
In Blount County the beautiful greenways provide us the ability to get around Maryville and Alcoa. The A2B cycle program is cyclical in benefits by serving individuals with the need for transportation and opportunities of service that better our community. Serving the community through volunteer opportunities brings solution to get from point A to B.
Bikes are a low-cost, environmentally friendly, and healthy mode of transportation. They bring many health benefits and are fun to ride! Join us in this journey of getting from A2B.
Participants of the program will be recommended or referred, complete an application, and volunteer 2 hours to a partnering organization in exchange for a bike, helmet, and lock. To be eligible, individuals must not have any other form of transportation and be at or below the poverty level. Applicants must live in Blount County.

Applicants must be referred or recommended by an organization stating the need for transportation and how a bike will be of benefit. A sample letter of reference or recommendation can be found below.
The application and volunteer form can be submitted online via the link below. The referral letter should be sent to pivot4tn@gmail.com or can be mailed to PO BOX 451 Alcoa, TN 37701.
